About this Event

Compassionate Voices CIC delivers unique and empowering journalling workshops for women and girls of all ages and ethnicities struggling with low self esteem and anxiety.

WHO IS IT FOR?

It doesn’t matter what the circumstance. It could be an additional confidence boost after counselling or therapy. It might be to find strength, courage and self belief after a traumatic period - whether that is a domestic abuse relationship, financial difficulties, redundancy, bullying, loss of a loved one, isolation, or sudden illness. It could also be low self-esteem through the perimenopause/menopause, or mild to medium mental health issues. Whatever the situation 'The Power of YOU' can be the bridge to a more fulfilled life!

THE POWER OF YOU

Since January 2020 to December 2024, we have delivered almost 60' The Power of YOU’ women’s workshops, both online and in-person, impacting numeorus women's lives. We do receive referrels from doctors, social prescribers and job centres, but a referral is not necessary to attend. Please complete the form to reserve your place.

FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Fully funded, the highly recommended and unique journalling workshop (would normally cost between £50 -£70 per attendee) is free to women living in Derbyshire. The session is taking place at Chesterfield Fire Service Community Room on Saturday 24th January 10:00am - 5:00pm. Lunch & refreshments included.Any further questions please email [email protected]

Attending 'The Power of YOU Workshop' doesn't end there. We have a growing and diverse community of women, who are coming together, making friends, sharing their stories, and realising they also have their own unique talents. Also, for a small annual donation, ( £15 a year, just over £1 a month) you will have access to further activities and events both face to face and online. This means we all stay connected, while supporting Compassionate Voices to continue helping others!
