About this Event
My Soul is a Wild Wild Wild Horse Galloping Across Galaxies: The Power of The Short Poem
By focusing on the American poetic form, the Lune, we will examine poems as lyrics and tiny paintings and how our 5 senses can inspire concrete nouns that can create poems bursting with imagery. This writing workshop will start by writing warm-ups that will ground us before composing and sharing the American form of the haiku. This workshop is open to all levels of writers -- young adults through seniors.
