About this Event
In March 2023 Jack Greenwood set out from a cold, autumnal Patagonia in southern Argentina. Over the next 9 months he rode 7500 miles through 6 countries to finish on a sweltering Caribbean coastline. He was tracing the steps of a young Che Guevara in the Motorcycle Diaries and embracing latin american literature, music and folklore as he went. The experience gave him flashbacks to last a lifetime and stories to fill a book.
Jack is sharing his story and is joined by his mum, Ali who has completed Edinburgh to Lands End on her bike in her 60th year and found it to be a powerful support to her mental health.
The pair will chat, Jack will do an illustrated talk about his mammoth ride and Frome's Missing Links Chair, Rich Ackroyd, will lead questions and answers afterwards.
Licensed bar and soft refreshments will be available.
