Breathing is something we all do, but how often do we truly harness its power to heal and quiet the mind? In this 60-minute workshop, you will learn the unique breathing method developed by John Quirk, founder of SoCal Wellness Retreats, designed to help you reach meditative, healing, and even euphoric states.
Breathwork is a powerful tool for expelling toxins from your body and boosting your immune system. It also supports cardiovascular health, increases metabolism, and helps regulate the nervous system.
Whether you're new to breathwork or practice regularly, this workshop offers something for everyone. Beginners will learn how to breathe more intentionally and use the breath to escape mental chatter and reach a deeply meditative state. Experienced participants will get to explore several different breathing methods and breath holds to increase their capacity and go deeper into altered states of consciousness.
The session begins with an introduction to the method and safety guidelines, followed by a guided breathwork session and an opportunity to share and reflect on your experience.
