Join us for this insightful presentation by visiting Professor Ian Hickie from Brain and Mind Centre - The University of Sydney.
About this Event

For the first time, we now have new digital and AI technologies, and new statistical (dynamic system and agent-based) methodologies, to drive real innovation in mental health research and services developments. We need to engage actively with these opportunities in both our research and out approach to meeting the ever-increasing demand for more personalized and effective mental health services. Using examples of this work in Australia, and from our Brain and Mind Research Centre, this presentation will illustrate how we can utilize these new approaches in conceptualizing and delivering highly personalized and measurement-based care for individuals experiencing mental ill-health as well as enhancing population-based mental health initiatives. Australia is at the forefront of such developments, and engagement of staff and students of our Universities is critical to their future. Specific examples will look at application in the areas of circadian-based mood disorders, new youth mental health programs and regional youth mental health initiatives.
