An introduction to the yogic concept of Pranayama, our breath's ability to shift depending on how we’re feeling, and how we can use that to our advantage.
Sunday, February 8 - "Building Breath & Energy Capacity"
An exploration of how breath manipulation and techniques can increase our capacity in the lungs and for our energy as a whole. (Attending Part 1 of this series is beneficial, but not required, to attend Part 2.)
Sunday, February 22 - "Managing Emotions with Movement & Breath"
An investigation of Pranayama beyond breathwork -- cultivating, balancing, and managing emotions and through mudras, drishtis, and full body movement. The peak of this practice will bring forth emotional sound (via breath!) and a primal group scream. (Attending Parts 1 and 2 of this series is beneficial, but not required, to attend Part 3.)
