Join us on Tuesday, November 5th, from 6:30-8:30 pm for an evening of poetry, humor and contemplation. Two open-mic sessions will sandwich our feature Tom Ewart.
Sign up for the Open mic at [email protected]. Five minute maximum please. Free admission. Separate area for our event. On-street parking or check redemptionrock.beer for other parking options.
Redemption Rock Brewery serves craft beers, coffees, teas and delicious snacks. You can bring your own food but outside beverages are not allowed. The Poetry Extravaganza is sponsored
by Lewandowski Painting.
Tom Ewart is eighty years old enough to know better, and generally doesn’t, which is why he writes; how will he know what he thinks until he sees what he says?
He has had stories and poems published in obscure little magazines, ones that paid him mostly in contributor copies, which didn’t pay the rent or taste very good, so he always kept a day job. Now he is retired and does what he pleases.
Over the years, he has been married and divorced, rinsed and repeated. He has one daughter who claims him and another who won’t. He currently resides by a marsh.
His website, tommywart.com, will remind you that it’s all of him you’d ever want.
His book 'Dear Mom" is available on Amazon.
