The paintings in this exhibit are meant to convey to the viewer the way that natural light illuminates the landscape. I like to use strong colors and value contrast to amplify the mood of each scene. The landscape provides me with so much inspiration, and I feel a strong desire to reproduce that feeling in my art.The works are all soft pastel over watercolor on sanded paper.
