The Poe Toaster is dead—murdered at Edgar Allan Poe’s grave. And the killer is still on the loose.
For decades, a mysterious visitor known only as the Poe Toaster crept into Westminster Hall & Burying Ground on the eve of Poe’s birthday, leaving three roses and a glass of cognac at the poet’s grave. The ritual became legend—until 2009, when the Toaster vanished without a trace.
Now, supernatural sleuth, master medium, and podcast host Raven Nevermore reopens what might be Baltimore’s second-coldest case—because the first, of course, is the death of Poe himself. Dun dun duh!
This January 17, during Edgar Allan Poe’s 217th birthday weekend, the truth is finally revealed: The Poe Toaster is dead—murdered at the grave of Edgar Allan Poe.
