Will Kobus

Will Kobus is a 24 year old artist who’s originally from New Jersey but is currently based out of DC. He began writing raps at the age of 15 and began to take his craft more serious around the age within the following years. His approach to creating is and has been rooted in therapy, with many of his tracks acting as a mirror for him to self-reflect not only on his flaws and shortcomings, but the world around him at large. For 2022 so far, he’s released a slew of new tracks and visuals which all led up to his new solo full-length project, “full court press”, which dropped July 1st.

Judo the Emperor

Hailing from Silver Spring, Maryland, the 22-year old rapper/producer has been steadily developing a soothing, reminiscent yet progressive sound that consists largely of introspective rhyme jargon over canvases of jazz and soul inspired loops since circa 2017.

Currently based out of DC, JUDO THE EMPEROR strives to create an expansive discography that wholly captures the state of the 21st century through the lens of a young Nigerian-American’s imagination.

In May of 2022, JUDO THE EMPEROR released 'Message to a Past Self', a project that solidifies JUDO as a new and upcoming voice in the space that the new wave of Alternative Hip-Hop occupies.

Talk To Your Neighbor

A Craigslist miracle formed during the pandemic, Talk To Your Neighbor is a musical collective of half of DC’s 2010s post-rock group Dope Francis, DC newcomers and bedroom pop duet Help Yourself to the Citrus, and prolific keyboardist Kevin Huang. Under the captivating introspections of lead singer Ana Ruess revs Talk To Your Neighbor’s shapeshifting sonic engine, fueled by a diverse array of influences, ranging from Nick Drake’s fingerpicked bittersweet folk guitar to Jai Paul’s explosive alternative r&b wubs & smacks and Rosalia’s spellbinding flamenco intonations. For the past year, the band has been tirelessly charting a unique musical adventure for its live set, having meticulously stitched musical transitions between each song to create a fully immersive experience for its Neighbors on the other side of the stage. It’s a non-stop emotional journey you don’t want to miss.
