About this Event

“The Playground” Expression Circle: Singing, Movement & Connection

Hello, lovely humans. 🌞

It’s time to step back from the heaviness of life — the news cycle, the brokenness, the constant pressure to engage — and rediscover the joy of play. The Playground is an expressive, judgment-free space to reconnect with your lightness, creativity, and genuine human connection through music, movement, laughter, and presence.

Think of it as a fusion between dance, mindfulness, and creative improv, wrapped in the spirit of childhood wonder. Together we’ll sing, move, breathe, and explore spontaneous expression — not to perform, but to remember what it feels like to be fully alive, connected and present in our Play-selves.

🌟 What to Expect

In this playful, expressive circle, here are some examples of what we might actually do:

  • Dip into the costume box for added funsies and permission
  • Make a “song” of spontaneous animal sounds
  • Wim Hof-style invigorating breathing
  • “Expressive shape” embodiment activities
  • Good ol’ fashioned dance party to some Latin House or other 🔥
  • Seated eye-gazing
  • Belly laughing circle
  • Listening to a brief passage from a spiritual teacher like Alan Watts or Ram Dass
  • A practical, self-love embodied practice like the Butterfly Hug
  • A closing circle where we hear how others experienced the space and share our own experience

Join Us!

If this sounds like your kind of space, RSVP and mark your calendar — your presence will help co-create the energy of The Playground. Invite friends, partners or anyone curious about movement, music, play, and connection.

Everything in this circle is optional and consent-based — there’s no pressure to perform or participate in any activity that doesn’t feel right. Physical contact is only for those who welcome it, and all exercises are designed to make you feel safe, seen, and supported.

Come ready to laugh, move, sing, and explore, and leave lighter, more connected, and inspired to bring playful creativity into your life. Trust us — it’s going to be fun, freeing, and will leave you wanting more!
