Tournament Details can be found below or on our website! - Scoring Format: Rally (You have to score on your serve to win)
- Minimum Games: Each team will be scheduled for at least 5 games.
- Score Tracking: Pickleball Charleston will record All game scores in DUPR.
- Based on Ratings: Teams are placed into pools based on their combined team rating (your rating + your partner’s rating).
- Event Combining: Depending on the number of teams: Events may be combined based on skill level or age to ensure a better playing experience.
*** Players may enter both gender doubles and mixed brackets as start times are separate.
Bracket Formation:
- Initial Setup: Teams will first compete in a Round Robin format.
- Skill Level Adjustments: Skill levels might be mixed during the Round Robin. After this phase, teams will be split into two separate brackets based on their Round Robin standings.
- Separate Brackets: Each bracket will have its own winners and medalists.
- Bracket Format: The specific format for each bracket will be determined based on the number of teams and will be provided a week before the event.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
This is an outdoor event. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs PBC will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if winners may be determined.
