Have you ever found yourself wondering about really deep and meaningful questions, but have nowhere to go to share your thoughts? Have you ever woken up the night with a really big thought and can’t get it out of your mind? This may provide the solution to your dilemma.The Philosophy Cafe: After hours is an opportunity for Old Guildfordians and parents of GGS students to come together to discuss topics of a Philosophical nature in a respectful and safe environment. The sessions are practical opportunities to share your perspectives on questions that matter, and to ask your questions that have no easy solutions. We can’t promise you definite answers, but we can promise you an experience like no other in trying to figure out the best way to respond.
SCHEDULE
*Session 1 - 6.30pm-8.00pm on Wednesday 31 July - Topic: Who am I?
*Session 2 - 6.30pm-8.00pm on Thursday 22 August - Topic: Can I ever know anything for certain?
*Session 3 – 6.30pm-8.00pm on Wednesday 18 September - Topic: To be decided by participants
The sessions will take place in the Student Business Centre in the Senior School.
