Well, its March and almost "that holiday" which means liberally poured Tullamore Dew and a dance floor ready for energetic enjoyment! We've got an extended set of bands this month with a mixed-genre approach that should offer something for everyone. Come out and discover new-to-you music!
The Phensic return to our stage once more with their highly danceable, multi-harmony blend of two-tone influence, soul, reggae, punk. If you haven't seen them yet, now is the time!
Dunia & Aram also return to the stage once again with their thought-provoking lyrics along with melodic blend of stand-up bass and ukulele, all channeled through NYC dissidence.
Faith NYC make their Skaville debut, with their fuck-punk-reggae that has been rattling dance floors since 1988!
Opening up is Rocky Sullivan Psy. D, also making their Skaville debut, with their wild Irish punk-ska stylings. Show up early and do a jig in the tiniest circle pit in Manhattan!
Band Set Times:
8pm - Rocky Sullivan Psy. D
9pm - Faith NYC
10pm - Dunia & Aram
11pm - The Phensic
DJs Nacht Nurse and Jimmy Doyle spit duties on the turntables this month, and you know they'll be bringing straight heat! Your DJ Ryan Midnight, as always, hosts, spins the late set after the bands are done, and offers questionable fashion influence.
Bands play 8pm-midnight sharp, DJs go non-stop from 8pm-2am!
21+, and no cover (pay what you can). Please bring cash (or Venmo!) to tip each band you see. Dress to impress, if that's your thing, and we'll see you on the dance floor!
Want to support StS, near or far? The Venmo "tip bucket" @djryanmidnight is always ready for a few bucks.
