Known for infusing jazz, soul and funk samples throughout their catalog, the eclectic group, along with other hiphop groups / artists such as De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest and Souls Of Mischief created a whole new lane within the hiphop genre that crossed over to the mainstream. 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of their classic second album 'Labcabincalifornia'.
The legendary hip hop group from LA reunited in March of last year for a 23 show run in Europe selling out the majority of the shows. In October / November, the group came back for a 10 city run including headlining the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival in Cork, Ireland and selling out the rest of the cities during the run. In March of this year they did another 15 cities in Europe / UK to sell double the amount of tickets they sold last year and headlined Southport Weekender. In August, they shared the bill with The Roots and De La Soul for two shows in the UK and headlined Boomtown Festival.
The group also joined a star studded line up for the 'A GRAMMY Salute To 50 Years Of Hip Hop', which is the Grammy's special dedication to Hip Hop culture aired last year.
