Featuring Vancouver bassist Steve Holy!Join Ottawa jazz pianist and composer Peter Hum when he reunites at Robo Lounge with Vancouver bassist Steve Holy. Rounding out the trio will be Ottawa drummer Valeriy Nehovora, a champion of supportive, dynamic music-making.
Peter and Steve go way back, having taken their baby steps in jazz together in the late 1980s at McGill University in Montreal. They've maintained a friendship over the decades despite the distance between Ottawa and Vancouver and when they get together, they always try to make a gig happen. Thanks to Robo Lounge for hosting their 2026 reunion.
Expect two sets of conversational, improvisation-rich versions of jazz classics and Peter's original, lyrical compositions.
