About this Event
What is The People's Walking Choir?
Do you have a passion for singing, whether alone or in a group?
Do you love the outdoors and want to keep fit?
Join the first ever choir experience designed to combine both these passions. The People's Walking Choir is premiering in Swan Pool Sandwell Valley in October 2024. Bringing together the power of singing with a brilliant walk, The People's Walking Choir is sharing music with its local communities amongst the West Midlands.
The People's Walking Choir offers weekly 1-hour sessions where participants will walk through idyllic landscapes whilst learning to sing songs as a group. Led by a professional choir leader and accompanying walking/singing support staff, you will be immersed in the sound of bespoke backing tracks whilst being taught and directed by your choral specialist.
This unique new concept focuses in on singing and having a good time - you won't be aware of the exercise you did at the same time. Get stuck in with our tailored choral resources, designed for performance on the go - sing along to engaging popular tracks through our wireless headphones whilst you walk through brilliant local scenery.
We are sure you will love singing your heart out in the great outdoors with your new found choir friends!
