The People's Band debut at The Bar.The People's Band is a Des Moines based supergroup of seasoned musicians playing a diverse 4 hour set. This dynamic show is high energy and has something for everyone in the audience. You don't want to miss this mix of groove, rhythm 'n soul and rock 'n roll. You may expect covers including Santana, Nelly, Neil Young, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Harry Styles, Jelly Roll, REO Speedwagon, Metallica and so much more.
To stay diverse and give a variety of sounds, we utilize 3 lead vocalists (they may be all together at some shows or we may rotate some vocalists in and out at various gigs) and we occasionally have guest vocalists! You could be surprised with an original or 2!
