The People's Assembly Stick It To The Tories Big Night Out!
On the eve of the national demonstration , join us for an evening of music, activism, and solidarity hosted by local legend Barbara Nice as we come together to stand up against the Tories!
`Doors will open at 7pm.

Mrs Barbara Nice is the comedy creation of Janice Connolly BEM. She is a star of Phoenix Nights and radio 2 Sitcom “Barbara Nice” and is also the Artistic Director of triple award winning Women and theatre. Based In Birmingham the company create new work alongside communities about stuff that matters .

Barbarella (Barbara Pugliese), is a half Italian London based singer. She has established a reputation for stunning, sensual and intense shows with her band Barbarella’s Bang Bang, who formed in the queer and underground scene of South East London and appeared several times at Glastonbury Festival, Boomtown, Fuji Rock and more. Now she has teamed up with producer Dave Randall (Faithless) to record her debut solo album. The first single ‘Lonely’ was launched at a sold out London show in March 2023.

Gerry Potter is an author, poet, playwright, actor and director. He is also both creator and destroyer of Chloe Poems, the infamous gay, Scouse, Socialist, gingham-clad, drag queen diva.
Gerry trained at Liverpool’s Everyman Youth Theatre and National Museums Liverpool lists him among the city’s leading LGBTQIA+ icons. His autobiographical poetry-theatre show, My Scouse Voice, was performed by Fenella Fielding at Liverpool’s Unity Theatre, and a portrait documentary film, My Name is Gerry Potter, premiered at Homotopia.
