Come for an evening music and dance in the beautiful Union Hotel Ballroom. Following on from our Music-Dance Connection Workshops this spring, we are hosting a new bal event for Penzance. The night will start with a dance workshop led by Isobel Bloomfield and be followed by social dance with live music from a host of musicians including Grace & Neil and Pendans.
ARTISTS
PENDANS
Pendans has been playing for European dance for decades. Dancers themselves, Julie on fiddle and Mike on cello mandolin and tenor guitar, provide the dance with energy and atmosphere with their own unique take on the tunes.
GRACE & NEIL
A fiddle duo whose musical bond allows them to create beautiful and melodious harmonies in the traditional folk pieces they play. They are very excited for the opportunity to play for balfolk dancing.
