The Peacocks formed in 1990, still teenagers, in Stammheim near Zurich, Switzerland. Now grown men, the trio has released 10 albums and travelled and played half the world. Around 2000 concerts: The Peacocks toured the USA and Canada a few times, the UK a lot, two Japan tours and of course all over Europe. From Tromsø to Granada, from Galway to Kiev, from Rimini to St. Petersburg, not without stopping for shows on the way.
They shared stages with all the legends (except Fats Domino), but also with the local blues band. Played the big stages, but also every shithole. Topped the Japanese indie charts, slept on dirty floors or in the tour van.
The Peacocks love what they do. Their style, initially influenced by rockabilly and psychobilly of the 1980ies, is now a perfect blend of the hot shit the London underground scene had to offer in 1981, yet modern and in the here and now.
