About this Event
Mental Health affects how we think, feel and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. It is equally as important as our physical health which needs to be taken care of and maintained regularly. Peace of mind and spiritual connection is a paramount collaboration that works together to be able to gain wholeness. This retreat is for both men and women who are looking for ways to help gain more peace and wholeness in their lives.
This event will feature keynote speaker Rev. Jevon Billups, who currently serves as the Mental Health Coordinator for the DC Baptist Convention, Dr. Claudia Thorne, a Professor at Coppin State University, and three workshop leaders; Jasmine Perrier, Glendora Meyers, and Rev. Erica Williams.
