The path to Enlightenment is a 3-hour lecture that shares what it means to achieve enlightenment and how yoga is a step by step process to get there.
This class is based on Samkhya Philosophy, which is the foundation of Yoga and Ayurveda and describes the entire creation and existence.
This class will give you a deep insight into the origin of the universe, the relationship between the soul and the physical body, the koshas (our 5 bodies) and the Kleshas, which are the origin of suffering and the obstacles we need to overcome to achieve enlightenment. We will describe these elements one by one and will explain how they relate to each other.
Samkhya Philosophy, often described as the Metaphysics of Yoga, is the theoretical aspect of creation while Yoga is the practical aspect of the same system, which allows us to actually experience it. Understanding Samkhya philosophy will deepen your relationship with Yoga and its benefits.
Join us at the Nambour Yoga Centre at 11am for a 3 hour class. There’s a 45 mins break at 12:30pm.
