Suite Inspiration will lead an extraordinary Lenten experience when it offers “The Passion Death and Glory of Jesus Christ Through Scripture and Song” at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Palm Sunday April 13 at 3 p.m.
“We’ve presented this devotional experience for 26 years in our home parish and at benefit events at other churches as well” said Judy Transue the Suite’s producer and music ministry director at the Absecon parish. "It is an hour of beautiful and meaningful music with an incredibly powerful message. And it gives anyone listening a rare opportunity for quiet and deep contemplation on the amazing events of Holy Week.”
Transue noted that the Suite’s musicians have performed Christmas concerts for more than three decades. “We really enjoy performing Christmas music but we feel that people seldom get to hear the wealth of music that tells the story of the rest of Christ’s time on earth.”
The hour-long experience is a musical story a journey like Lent itself and an opportunity to reflect on what that journey is all about.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church is located at 603 New Jersey Ave. Absecon NJ. The music-and-scripture observance is free welcoming everyone of any faith.
