Learn a bit about a science during your gameday weekends this fall! Our Friday talks, conveniently scheduled to wrap up before you head to the pep rally, are geared for general audiences. Delivered by dynamic Notre Dame faculty and guests, the topics will spark your interest in a variety of scientific fields.
The lectures take place in the Jordan Hall of Science Galleria, and are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as certain topics are quite popular!
Panel Discussion with former William K. Warren Foundation Dean of the Notre Dame College of Science, Gregory P. Crawford, who is now the 22nd president of Miami University; Sean Kassen, director of the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Fund; Barbara Calhoun, assistant professor of the practice and the Reisenauer Family Director for the Patient Advocacy Initiative, and others will share how the search for cures for Niemann-Pick Type C has led to exciting advances that may someday cure patients with the disease.
