The Performing Arts Department is proud to announce Volume 2 of our Park Concert Series — and it’s a BIG one.We’re kicking it off in style with Billy Allen + The Pollies, straight out of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, at the grand opening of the new Porter Park Amphitheater in downtown Dothan!
Music is officially returning to downtown Dothan — and this is just the beginning.
🔥 Billy Allen + The Pollies deliver a powerhouse blend of southern soul, rock, and heartfelt storytelling — known for their electrifying live shows and deeply rooted Muscle Shoals sound.
Joining them is Florence, Alabama’s own Local Brand, bringing an infectious jam/rock/soul groove perfect for a summer evening.
A special art installation by our friends at Art in Public Places will take place during this event.
🎨 More music, art vendors, retail vendors, and food trucks will be announced soon. (And yes… we’re starting in the afternoon — we’re waiting until the Alabama game is over. 😉)
