The parish of St. Mary's Church is once again holding a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday October 5th at 3:00pm!The parish is collecting donations in support of BCAA.
All are welcome to attend with animal companions (appropriately restrained or crated of course), their photographs, collars, or the cremains of a beloved pet.
St. Francis of Assisi is especially associated with reverence for nature and love of animals and services of prayer and blessing for animals are often connected to his Oct. 4th feast day.
Please join us on October 5th so the special animals that have touched your lives can receive a blessing in his name. The service usually lasts 20-30 minutes.
