We are going back to our roots and one of our greatest passions, to teach a three day immersive course on the craft of paddle carving. You will learn a range of skills including, how to select wood, design considerations, marking out, axe work, shaping and tillering, sanding / choosing a finish and how to maintain your paddle, amongst other things! And remember you are walking away with a paddle to last you a lifetime!
Course led and taught by Steven Hanton who has been building his own wood and canvas canoes for the last 15 years and can’t wait to share his craft with you this autumn!
