The scandalous governor of an average American state has just been removed from office. Ned Newly, the Lieutenant Governor, is elevated to the big chair. Ned is great at governing, but he’s terrified of public speaking. It’s up to his staff, including the least likely person, to save the day. Author Paul Slade Smith has created a politically neutral, heart-warming comedy about what can happen when the “professionals” try to interpret the will of the people. BTP is a dessert theater experience. Our audience sits at round tables with dessert and coffee served at intermission. The cost of dessert is included in the price of the ticket.
