Join us for our first full length play at our Studio Wayne building: The Orphanage, a play by Melissa Leilani Larson.
In the summer of 1942 and within the locked gates of the Warsaw ghetto, some 200 orphans live in the care of the “Old Doctor,” Janusz Korczak. Under Korczak’s guidance, the Orphanage is its own little city where every child is assigned a job and a way to contribute.
As rumors about the fate of Warsaw’s Jews begin to swirl, Korczak determines to prepare his charges for whatever danger the future may hold—by staging a play.
This is a general admission event, with limited seating. Get your tickets for this live performance while you can!
**Please park behind the Studio Wayne building at 535 W. Main Street and enter the building from the back door (NOT on Main Street).**
The ADA entrance is at the front of the building, on Main Street, if needed.
