The Only Animal’s Slow Social Club offers soft tactics to remember and repair our relationships in a damaged world. Join us weekly as we create handmade textile environments and explore possibilities for climate joy through slow, process-led artmaking. This fall and winter, we’ll mark seasonal cycles of harvest, decay, rest, and return, using local plants to eco-print and natural dye salvaged cotton sheeting. Take a patch home or contribute a piece to our upcoming installations and performances. We’ll provide materials and skills-sharing as well as links to our additional programming, including live performance events, sound walks and a themed reading group.
The Slow Social Club is an extension of Poetics of Possibility, an invitation to explore future possibilities and to inspire community dialogue through and ongoing laboratory of experimentation.
