February 1st :
Class Topic: "How to build your own portable, sub irrigated, raised garden bed" ( Back By popular demand)
Class Description: Looking to try gardening at home but don't want to invest a fortune initially? This class will teach you how to build your very own portable, raised garden bed that is also self watering. An ideal setup for growing in our warm climate.
March 1st:
Class Topic: "Spring Planting Guide"
Class Description: This class will discuss which vegetables are best to grow in our area in the early spring in zone 9 as well as a few pointers on how to get the most out of the garden space you have.
April 5th:
Class Topic: "Buzzworthy Gardens: Attracting Pollinators"
Class Description: Dive into the art of attracting pollinators! Learn to cultivate a vibrant ecosystem with the right plants, turning your garden into a haven for bees, butterflies, and more. May 3rd:
Class Topic: "How to make your own garden soil"
Class description: Make Your Own Potting Soil and Save Huge! Potting or container soil is one of the largest expenses of having your own backyard garden. Although it is readily available at most garden centers and home improvement stores, what you find there is often overpriced. In this class, I show you how to make your own organic potting mix right at home, for the fraction of the cost it would be to buy a mixture that is no where near as good. The mix can be used for pots, containers, small raised beds, and even as a seedling mix!
June 7th
Class Topic: "Summer is coming!! How you can beat the heat and still grow something to eat"
Class Description: This class will be devoted to discussing the best vegetables to grow in the hot Florida summer months and how to maximize your success.
July 5th
Class Topic: "Plant Propagation Basics: how to multiply your plants exponentially"
Class Description: Too hot outside to work in the garden? Why not get your plant fix in the shade or even indoors while you propagate plants from fresh cuttings taken from plants you already have? its easy and fun!!!
August 2nd:
Class Topic: " Composting basics: The art of organic alchemy"
Class Description: " This class will focus on the basics of creating compost from basic kitchen and yard waste as well as mistakes to avoid in the process.
September 6th:
Class Topic: "Getting ready for fall: planning your fall garden
Class Description: " Fall is coming and with it comes a plethora of vegetables you can grow during the cooler months in Florida. We'll discuss how to plan your fall garden and techniques to maximize harvests.
October 4th:
Class Topic: "Cruciferous Chronicles: Growing Brassicas with Garden Panache"

Class description: " Cool weather means lots of leafy green veggies and root vegetables on the dinner table. We'll discuss how to maximize production and rock your taste buds with fresh greens , carrots and beets
