ABOUT SPEAKERS:
Adam Simms: Media, Film, and TV graduate from Liverpool Media Academy. Experienced in independent filmmaking, his work spans from short films to live events. His introduction to Ken Loach's films began with "Riff-Raff," featuring Liverpool’s Ricky Tomlinson, whom he met during his studies. The film provided him with a fascinating insight into working-class life in the 80s, exposing poor working conditions on building sites.
Honorata Mikolajew: Founder of Cinema Social Club with a background in film direction and film and media from Lodz, Poland. Experienced in cultural event organisation and programming, including film festivals in Liverpool. Honorata is also currently taking part in the MPower Leadership programme where she is learning about the political system in the UK.
