Fresh from tackling the Low Countries on their pioneering Green Tour where they cycled old postman bikes 400km to Rotterdam and back, drawing awareness to sustainable touring, The Odd Folk return home to bring their stories and songs to this unique open air theatre in the heart of Penzance.Described by The Guardian as “the best folk band you’ve never heard of,” the boys are certainly doing their very best to change that moniker as they continue to push boundaries, blending genres as often as they swap instruments—so there really is something for everyone.
Opening the evening is Belgian artist Valerie Van Roey, whose intimate blend of folk, classical and Persian vocal influences has been described as both timeless and boundary-defying.
This will be the final FULL BAND SHOW of the year and early booking is advised!
