About this Event
Avi Shalev (Ret. Lieutenant-Colonel, Israeli Defense Force) will be visiting NY to share his perspective on the Oct 7 war, and speak about his book “The Only Jew In The Room”.
Avi’s presentation will shed light on his personal experiences, why and how Israel missed all the flashing red lights in Gaza prior to October 7th, the Israeli Endgame in Gaza, Israeli-Arab relations post Oct 7 and his perspective for co-existence in the Holy Land.
In his presentation, Avi will also speak about his journey from a career officer who served in the IDF`s central intelligence Branch and the Civil Administration in the West Bank and the Gaza strip to a student in the Muslim town of Baqa Al-Gharbiyye.
