The Nutcracker is a ballet by Pyotr Tchaikovsky with a libretto by Marius Pepita, based on the fairy tale by E.T.A. Hoffman, created and first presented to the public in 1892. In Hoffman’s fairy tale, the girl’s name is Mary and her favorite doll is Clara. Marius Pepita used this version for his libretto.Ticketing:

*All seats are general admission and there is no assigned seating. Priority seating merely entitles those ticket holders to enter the theater 15 minutes early and have first access to the seats of their choice.
