It is snowing as the guests arrive at Clara’s house for Christmas Eve celebrations. Clara receives a Nutcracker doll from her mysterious but favourite aunt, Madame D. Clara loves her Nutcracker more than any other present. Eventually the guests leave and Clara falls asleep but dreams her Nutcracker has come to life and with his soldiers must fight the cheeky mice. After winning the battle Clara dances through snowflakes that flutter and twirl in the moonlight.
Clara travels to the enchanted Kingdom of the Sweets and is welcomed by the Sugar Plum Fairy. In honour of winning the battle against the cheeky mice everyone celebrates with dancing that includes some of our favourite festive delights. There are macaroons, chocolate churros, gelato, Arabic coffee and Red Velvet cake culminating with waltzing flowers!
