Join author CJ DeBarra to hear about the Notts Queer History Archive, an oral history project to preserve the experiences of Nottingham’s LGBTQ+ community. The archive highlights the importance of preserving stories of struggle and resilience, to ensure that future generations can learn from the lives of those who came before them.
CJ will talk about Nottingham’s queer history as well as providing a brief ‘how-to’ of grassroots queer archiving.
An exhibition by Sheffield City Archives and Steel City Queer History will be open from 5pm. Talk starts at 6pm.
