The international conference "The Nordics and Latin America: Sustainable Mining" brings together mining operators, suppliers, authorities and academia from Latin America and northern Europe.
Featured in-person presentations by CTO of Boliden, Daniel Eklund on the electrification of Boliden mines in Sweden and Finland, and Anders Sand, President of Swedish Mining Innovation on the international collaboration and projects of this Swedish mining cluster. Presentation by Latin American mining companies on their decarbonization strategy, such as presentation by Enrique Caballero, Regional Manager at Clencore Cooper in South America.
The topic of the conference is sustainable mining, in this edition the focus will be on the decarbonization of the mining industry by reducing scope 1 and 2 emissions.
All speakers participate in person.
The conference will have simultaneous English/Spanish translation
