Norwich Jazz Club are delighted to welcome Nigel’s trio back to the city when they’ll be joined by special guest saxophonist Alex Garnett.
One of the UK’s leading exponents of the Wes Montgomery style of playing (among others) Nigel always brings an irresistible energy and groove to his arrangements and compositions, backed as ever by the powerhouse rhythm section of Ross Stanley and Joel Barford. For their visit this year they’re joined by sax colossus Alex Garnett; long-time resident saxophonist at Ronnie Scott’s and first-call section-player for many of the UK’s top big bands.
Their appearance this evening is part of their 3-month Autumn tour of the UK when they’ll be promoting their brand-new studio album “It’s On!”.
