THE BRISBANE JAZZ CLUB PROUDLY PRESENTS: THE NEW GENERATION OF JAZZ
Brisbane based vocalist and bassist Kaite Chester, is looking forward to delivering an evening of original arrangements of a variety of jazz standards from the Great American Songbook and more. Taking influence from vocalists Samara Joy, Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae and Esperanza Spalding, Kaite has compiled a program of swing, latin and modern jazz for her Quintet’s debut at the Brisbane Jazz Club. If you are keen to be transported on a swinging journey through the jazz of the roaring 20’s, all the way to the exhilarating 2020’s, you are in for a treat!
Joining her for this fantastic evening of jazz will be Cam McConville (piano), James Todd (guitar), Aaron Ma (Bass) and Oscar Langton (drums).
For these gigs, seating will be general admission, so you won’t need to choose specific seats when booking—just select your ticket type.
We'll be offering delicious pizzas, along with our usual selection of bar snacks, to enjoy during the event.
