Join us on November 10 for The Neuro - Irv and Helga Cooper Foundation Open Science Prizes Ceremony at the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre at The Neuro.
Organized by the Tanenbaum Open Science Institute, this year’s edition received a record number of submissions from 18 countries across five continents — a testament to the growing worldwide commitment to transparency, collaboration, and accessibility in research.
During the ceremony, we’ll celebrate the 2025 prize winners:
- The BrainGlobe Initiative – International Prize Winner
- Ju-Chi Yu (Center for Addiction and Mental Health, Taiwan Open Brain Science Community) – International Trainee Prize
- Confidence Raymond (The Neuro, McGill University) – Canadian Trainee Prize
The event will feature a special lecture by Igor Tatarnikov of the BrainGlobe Initiative:
“The BrainGlobe Initiative – open-source tools and community building for computational neuroanatomy.”
