🌀 The Nature QuestSeptember 19–23, 2025
Samothraki Island, Greece
For the third year, over the Equinox, on the transition from the celebration of summer to the internal invitation of autumn, we gather on this wild and Mythical island to hold a Nature Quest.
We are joined once again by a Yariv Heimann as a guide — who has held this ceremony many times and comes especially to walk it with us.
This is a space where ancient ways meet today.
A space of solitude, prayer, non-doing and deep listening.
You’ll spend 3 days and 2 nights alone in nature — with water, but no food, no phone, no distractions — only your intention and the land.
the story
In many ancient cultures, rites of passage usually included going out into nature on purpose, alone and fasting. The people of the Lakota tribe went on "vision quests", aborigines went on a "walkabout", in Northern Europe shamans and wandering poets used to spend nights in nature to gain inspiration. In Ancient Greece, there were dreaming temples in which those seeking healing would fast and wait for dreams and messages to arrive from the gods. Buddha and Moses spent significant periods fasting and alone. And many more like them who searched for the secrets of the empowering experience which occurs when people leave the familiar and go out to nature.
Inspired by these ancient cultures, we invite you to the - 3rd annual - 5 day journey on the island. Three days and 2 nights of being by ourselves being nourished by the grace of Nature, Listening...
This is a personal journey in which we disconnect from the normal stimuli of our daily lives, silence the noises of the outside world and spend time with an inner intention, with nature as our guide, teacher and inspiration.
🔸 The Flow of the Days
Day 1 – Preparation
We gather, clarify intentions, and shape the personal ritual you’ll take with you. We eat together and share time together around the fire.
Days 2–4 – Solo Time
Three days and two nights alone in your chosen place in the wild. Fasting with water. Supported by the land, and by the ceremonial fire held in prayer at base camp. We will check on you twice daily from a distance.
Day 5 – Return & Integration
We return to camp, share simple food, and begin the work of integrating what came through. This final day is about grounding your experience into your life — with support, clarity, and care.

The process begins as soon as you sign up. You’ll receive guidance in how to prepare your prayer ties which will accompany you on this nature journey. These are bundles of intention and presence that you’ll create on your own before the solo time begins. The sooner you commit to the journey and start the preparation, the deeper the experience for your intention, the ceremony and the group.
