Join Brian Foster, Communications Director of the Georgia Conservancy, as he shares the opportunities for hiking, paddling, and camping with the organization. The Georgia Conservancy annually leads hundreds of people on educational adventures and service projects—from our most-loved trails to Georgia’s far-flung forests. The goal is simple: Connecting Georgia’s special places with the people needed to protect them. Learn about the Georgia Conservancy and the advocacy opportunities surrounding many of their outdoor trips and adventures.As the Communications Director for the Georgia Conservancy Brian manages the organization’s external communications including print, social media, web, position papers, and works closely with all programmatic areas on advocacy outreach and messaging. Committed to protecting Georgia’s outdoors for conservation and recreation, he has served on the boards of numerous organizations in the state committed to protecting nature for future generations.
Attend in person at 7PM in the CNC Plaza Conference Room and bring a dish to share for the potluck. Make new friends and connections at Nature Club while learning all at the same time Brian’s presentation will begin at 7:30PM.
