Join Mark Mandica, Executive Director of the Amphibian Foundation, to learn all about the conservation work of the organization. Mark’s work puts him on the front line in the efforts to conserve declining native and tropical amphibians. Mark’s academic interests were originally broadly based on the form, function, and evolution of amphibians, with particular interest in the biomechanics of feeding: prey detection, capture, and transport. He has also explored the amphibian community ecology of the Everglades, as well as the prey detection and feeding mechanisms of aquatic frogs.Attend in person at 7PM in the CNC Plaza Conference Room and bring a dish to share for the potluck.
