Melbourne Funk/World Music Group The Natural Culture are embarking on their first tour of 2022 in support of their vibrant new single 'Beez Kneez'. This feel-good jam creates an atmosphere of celebration as it effortlessly dances between drum & bass, funk and pop genres with jazz elements sprinkled throughout.
Guitarist Steven Silk says “BeeZ KneeZ is a composition TNC created when exploring drum n bass grooves while on tour. Our previous works are fairly eclectic so with this track we wanted to maintain our diversity with some different production elements by adding electronic drums, samples, midi strings and broader orchestrations into the mix. In addition to welcoming these new features we feel the track is still resonant to our sound at its roots. We wanted to maintain the natural sense of fun and excitement that our music generally portrays while keeping true to our underlying appreciation of nature and sustainability. The lyrics are inspired by getting an insight into something more and having the courage to break free and pursue that experience to the fullest extent”
The Natural Culture have toured extensively throughout Australia, Europe and Asia taking stages of all sizes by storm with three EPs under their belt. This tour will see them perform in New Zealand for the very first time, making stops in Mapua, Picton, Rotorua, Tauranga, Hamilton and Auckland. With the release of 'Beez Kneez' and their infectious live energy taking them on an ever changing journey of new experiences and growth, the band is taking further steps in their mission to build a legacy in the name of preserving our planet.
