Wednesday 29 January, 2pm, 'The Natural Beauty of Dorset'—Colin Varndell
Colin Varndell has been photographing the landscape and wildlife for over 30 years. He has won awards four times in the prestigious international Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition. This presentation is based upon the book of the same name and takes the audience on a tour of Dorset’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, covering geology and the landscape with a series of breathtaking views punctuated by inspirational images and stories of wildlife along the way.
The Wareham Town Museum’s Winter lecture series for 2025 will be held in the Town Hall, Corn Exchange. Doors open at 1:45 pm with lectures starting at 2 pm. The entry is free for each lecture, but donations are greatly appreciated. Tea and Coffee served after the lecture.
