Why:
What :
The Native Plant Rescue Project was founded in 2022 by Ashley Landry in Central Texas. The initiative aims to save native plants that are at risk of being destroyed due to development. By collaborating with landowners and developers, NPRP seeks permission for volunteers to salvage plants before construction begins, ensuring that these vital species are preserved for future generations. Come learn about Ashley inspires conservation in our community through restoration, propagation, and education.
Greensleeves Nursery grows many of the seeds rescued by NPRP, and we are excited to welcome them as a table guest for this presentation. They bring a wealth of practical knowledge and passion that perfectly complements this event's theme. We encourage you to stop by their table to learn more about their work and explore resources that will inspire your own appreciation and use of native plants.
