The Nancy Gilliland Trio performs the Great American Songbook…and then some!
Popular singer/pianist Nancy Gilliland, Sequoia YMCA volunteer of the year, has been thrilling Bay Area music lovers for years. She is sharing her talents to benefit the Sequoia YMCA once again this fall. Joining Nancy are talented musicians Jim Nichols on bass and guitar and Olaf Schiappacasse on drums. With a repertoire of over 2,000 songs, her favorite tunes to perform are standards from the Great American Songbook which she sings with emotion and sensitivity. Nancy will touch your heart and honor the composers, lyricists and artists who created these music treasures. Her personal stories and backgrounds will add a new dimension to your musical enjoyment. All net proceeds benefit Seqouia YMCA.
