About this Event
Shake presents the third meeting of The Nameless Club, a historical nod to the literary and artistic history of the Genesee Valley! This event is a chance for us to gather and share 5-minute-ish stories or poems around a theme. Pieces can be extemporaneously told or written and read. Please keep the 5-minute (-ish) time limit in mind! Get there early to sign up and be on the list!
Our theme for September 20th is School Days.
William Pryor Letchworth, the name-sake of our beloved local treasure, Letchworth St. Park, spent as much time as he could at his beloved Glen Iris (currently the site of the Glen Iris Inn in Letchworth St. Park) on weekends and other extended periods, joined by a wide range of family and friends, among them were the members of the "Nameless Club", a group of WNY friends who delighted in sharing art and literature.
Come share a personal story or a piece of first-person written lit!
*Admission does not guarantee you will be able to participate as a storyteller, but we will do our best to accommodate as many Storytellers as we can!
